Cancer Lesson #88: You never forget your anniversary.
Six years ago today, at about 9:30 am, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I will celebrate being alive today.
And tomorrow.
And the day after tomorrow.
And the day after that, for the rest of my days.
11.00am, December 24, 2011… I had to wait until the New Year before anything happened, and the news got a lot worse before it got any better. My Christmas gifts since then have been considerably nicer 🙂
